DEALERS GALORE AT UPCOMING PINEAPPLE ANTIQUES SALE

It's one of the area's oldest and most respected annual charity antiques festivals and it takes place next weekend, Friday, March 8 (10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) and Saturday, March 9 (10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium. It's the 37th Pineapple Antiques Show & Sale organized by volunteers at First United Methodist Church in Sarasota and the Rotary Club of Sarasota Sunrise Foundation.

Pay your $6 at the door and expect to find American, English and French antique furniture, fine art, estate jewelry, china, collectibles, glassware, vintage linens, pottery, sterling silver, heritage toys and plenty of odds and ends to keep antiques hunters interested. Proceeds from this community charity event assist more than a dozen local charities.

There will be dealers from all over the U.S. and Canada. For information, call (941) 928-2817, or visit: www.firstsrq.com.
