Golden Gate Point unit sells for $2.2 million

Unit 602 in La Bellasara, on Sarasota's Golden Gate Point, has sold For $2.2 million, reports Michael Saunders & Co.

 
Terri Derr had the listing, while Linda Stowe brought in the buyer.
 
The list price was $2,495,000; the unit was on the market for 99 days.
 
It has three bedrooms and three baths in 3,377 square feet.

The land on which the condominium building sits was sold in 2003 to the developer, La Bellasara LLC,  for $6.75 million by the Congregation of the Holy Spirit Under the Protection of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

 
The developer sold unit 602 in May 2006 for $2.28 million. It sold again in December 2008 for $800,000, and then in March 2012 for $1.93 million.
 
Since the building was completed in 2006, 25 units have sold from $1.45 million to $4.84 million.
 
This sale is tied with two other deals as the No. 9 sale all-time in that building.
