TOUR A HOME UNDER CONSTRUCTION
DiVosta Homes will host a "dusty shoe" guided tour from 1 to 4 p.m. today to offer a behind-the-scenes look at the Cambridge model at IslandWalk at the West Villages, a gated community on U.S. 41 between Jacaranda Boulevard and River Road in Venice. Admission is free.
The three-bedroom, three-bath Cambridge, which is offered in three distinctive elevations, features a den that can serve as an optional fourth bedroom. The house has an open floor plan with an island kitchen, great room and dining area that totals more than 700 square feet and opens onto a screened, covered lanai that can become an optional extended patio.
The house will be priced from $281,990 when it opens in June. It will have Lennox central air-conditioning, R-30 ceiling insulation, double-pane insulated, low-E screened windows, an energy-efficient water heater and insulated fiberglass entry door.
MODEL HOMES UNDER WAY AT ROSEDALE
Ashton Woods Homes is building three model homes at Rosedale Country Club, off Lakewood Ranch Boulevard north of S.R. 70 in east Manatee County.
Michael Roche, vice president of sales and marketing for Ashton Woods Homes in the Tampa Bay region, said the model homes, each with three bedrooms and a study, will range in size from 1,962 square feet to 2,580 square feet of air-conditioned area and are priced from $319,990.
The models will be ready April 8.
TAYLOR MORRISON PLANS NEW COMMUNITY IN PALMER RANCH
Taylor Morrison is building a new community in Sarasota's Palmer Ranch.
As developer/builder of Arbor Lakes on Palmer Ranch, Taylor Morrison has 213 acres with plans to build 267 houses. Ground-breaking is expected this spring.
