A lot on Siesta Key's Blind Pass Road, listed at $1,495,000 by Kim and Michael Ogilvie of Michael Saunders & Co., has zoning variances in place so that a house may be built on it, seaward of both the state's Coastal Construction Control Line and Sarasota County's Gulf Beach Setback Line, said Kim Ogilvie.

State and county permits would allow a house of 3,800 to 4,000 square feet, said Ogilvie;  preliminary drawings have been done by Guy Peterson

A recent story in the Herald-Tribune was not clear on this point.

The Syd Solomon house once stood on the lot.
