Taylor Morrison will celebrate the opening of its new golf course and model homes at Esplanade in Lakewood Ranch from noon to 4 p.m. today, with food, entertainment and prizes, including a new car (register before 2 o’clock).
Visitors will see new furnished model homes, the recently completed amenity center, with live music at the resort-style pool, and the golf course.
Esplanade Golf & Country Club is north of State Road 70, east of Interstate 75, near Lakewood Ranch Boulevard. The gated, maintenance-free community has 600 acres and 1,250 home sites. A full-time lifestyle director plans events, classes and programs. Recreation amenities include lap and resistance pools, pickle ball and bocce courts, a barbecue area and fire pit, a playground, bark park, events lawn, the 18-hole golf course, walking trails and a canoe and kayak launch.

25 SALES AT SUGAR MILL LAKES
Neal Communities’ new Sugar Mill Lakes development, in Palmetto, has logged 25 home sales since August, with an average price of $234,000.
“The ideal, central location is driving sales,” said David Hunihan, director of sales for Neal Communities.
Nine feature homes are under construction, priced at less than $250,000, including options and upgrades. Homesites are 80 feet wide, allowing for a three-car garage if desired. Homes range 1,569 to 2,233 square feet, priced from the high $100,000s. Amenities include a family recreation center, a children’s playground, tennis courts and lake views.

NEW MODEL FOR LONDON BAY
London Bay Homes has started construction on the Girona, a model home in The Founders Club, Sarasota.
Inspired by the model’s Spanish architecture, the home will have a terra-cotta tile barrel roof, rustic brick paver walkway and landscaped entry courtyard featuring a fountain. The model will feature interiors by Michael Scott of Romanza Interior Design. It should be done by May.
The three-bedroom Girona has 3,526 square feet with a dining room, great room and study, as well as three full baths and a powder room. The model will be shown with a pool and spa, full summer kitchen with a commercial-grade grill, and a three-car garage, bringing it to 5,072 square feet.
The Girona is one of more than 20 floor plans offered by London Bay in The Founders Club, three miles east of Interstate 75 off Fruitville Road.
