WCI OPENS SEVEN MODELS AT SARASOTA NATIONAL

Seven furnished models — two Carriage homes, two Villas and three Grand Villas — are now open in the 2,400-acre Sarasota National development south of Venice.

Interiors for the Azalea, Florencia and Valencia Grand Villas were created by Kay Green Design.

The three-bedroom, two-bath Azalea has “coastal” colors (creams, macadamias and robin’s egg blue) with citrus green and accents of apricot throughout its 1,862 square feet. The transitional design blends light and dark wood tones with iron and glass, painted pieces and antiques.

The two-bedroom, two-bath Florencia balances old and new, modern and rustic, and light and dark in a design that incorporates a palette of sunny yellow, crisp whites and sapphire blues with hints of lemongrass and gray. The 2,039-square-foot floor plan has a dining room and den, which is shown as a golfer’s retreat and home office.

The two-bedroom, two-bath Valencia features soft taupes, gray and creamy neutrals with accents of amber, graphite and slate blue that appear also in painted crown molding, millwork and baseboards. The flex room in the 1,756-square-foot model is shown as a den.

Carol Jean Annand of CJ Décor created the interiors of the Medina and Carrara models, both two-bedroom, two-bath Villa homes, and the Corsica and Monaco, three-bedroom Carriage homes.

The Medina has a den, dining room and great room, with blues and pinks designed to impart a coastal ambience. Colors are introduced in painted furniture and floral and patterned upholstery throughout the 1,593-square-foot model.

The 1,807-square-foot Carrara pairs yellow and citron with multiple shades of gray, driftwood finishes and painted furniture. The floor plan offers a dining room and great room and features a driftwood-finished floor and picture-frame wall accents in the den.

The Monaco is located on the second floor of Sarasota National’s Carriage home buildings in the Oak Run neighborhood. Offering 2,376 square feet of air-conditioned living space, the Monaco showcases a low-maintenance lifestyle, and an open design combining great room, dining room, kitchen and café.

The three-bedroom, two-bath Corsica design offers first-floor living with expansive living spaces, including a formal dining room, great room and breakfast café within 1,710 square feet of living space..

Homes range from 1,572 to 2,506 square feet and are priced from the low-$200,000s. Information: 941-234-4470 or www.SarasotaNational.com.
