NEAL COMMUNITIES BREAKS GROUND ON SILVERLEAF MODELS

Neal Communities recently broke ground on the first two of seven models at its newest neighborhood in Manatee County — Silverleaf, in Parrish. The community is being developed just south of U.S. 301, approximately three miles east of Interstate 75. The builder has plans to build five more models in the next few months.

Neal broke ground on the Freshwater 2 model from its Celebration Series and the Liberty 2 from its Cruise Series. The Freshwater 2, a popular Neal floorplan, has 1,772 square feet with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The Liberty 2 is 1,509 square feet with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

"We anticipate high demand for this community, as it has an ideal location for people wanting to be close to centers of both Bradenton and Tampa Bay," said Michael Storey, Neal Communities' president.

"We are preserving 42 percent of the land as open space. Homeowners will be surrounded by the immense natural environment and wooded parks, while being just minutes away from modern conveniences and great local attractions," said Storey.

Silverleaf will include 713 home sites located within distinct neighborhoods.

Community amenities will include several parks, a centralized amenity center, a recreation center, pool and spa, fitness center, tennis courts, a children's playground, dog parks and an open play field.

Neal will offer single-family homes from its Cottage, Cruise and Celebration series, as well as paired villas from the Coral series. The community will open for sales this summer.

KAY GREEN DESIGN CHOSEN AT SARASOTA NATIONAL

Kay Green Design of Orlando has been elected as the interior designer for the Azalea, a Grand Villa model at Sarasota National. With 1,862 square feet, the Azalea is one of six models in WCI's newest community, near downtown Venice.

Kay Green Design introduced coastal colors and a transitional design throughout the three-bedroom, two-bath model, which features a mixed-media furniture format — dark and light wood tones, iron and glass, painted pieces and antiques.

The Azalea floor plan has 2,556 total square feet, including an attached two-car garage, covered entry and lanai. Base price is $259,990.

Amenities at Sarasota National include an 18-hole championship golf course, which was designed by Gordon Lewis and certified as an Audubon International Signature Sanctuary.
