WCI Communities has introduced a new collection of single-family Golf Estates, offering the largest floor plans now available at Sarasota National.
Featuring formal dining rooms, great rooms and dens or flex rooms, the new three-bedroom homes offer 2,664 to 3,184 square feet of living space and side-loading, two-car garages.
Three elevations per plan — some with Mediterranean and Spanish influences — provide choices of architectural styles and accents, including single- and triple-arched entry towers, decorative ironwork, shutters and cast-stone medallions, window surrounds and crown molding.
The houses are priced from $329,990 to $389,990.
Each floor plan is designed around a great room to maximize openness with adjoining rooms, among the top features home buyers want in a new home, according to a survey by the National Association of Home Builders.
Sliding-glass doors open to covered lanais that showcase Sarasota National’s golf, lake and nature preserve views.
New Golf Estate homes at Sarasota National offer spacious owner’s suites with walk-in closets, large showers, private water closets and vanities with his-and-her sinks.
Kitchens, designed to interact with the great room and casual dining areas, have walk-in corner pantries and freestanding islands with breakfast bars, sinks and dishwashers. Floor plan features also include tray ceilings in select rooms, tile flooring in main living areas, and carpeting in great rooms and bedrooms.

The Muirfield features a dedicated sitting room in a bay window in the owner’s suite, three full baths, an extended kitchen island and a formal dining room defined by columns. Double doors open to a den, which offers two closets. The Muirfield has 2,664 square feet of living space and 3,531 total square feet, including lanai, covered entry and garage.
The Pinehurst’s two sets of sliding-glass doors in the great room and oversized foyer enhance the openness of the 2,906-square-foot floor plan. Wide openings on each side of the foyer flow into the adjoining flex room and dining room. The floor plan offers 3,711 total square feet.
The 2,989-square-foot Riviera’s flex room offers a large walk-in closet and is located in the back of the home, through double doors from the great room. It offers three full baths, a powder room and 3,955 total square feet.
With 3,184 square feet of living space, the Turnberry is the largest Golf Estate home currently available at Sarasota National. The floor plan offers a den, flex room and four full bathrooms. Its formal dining room is accented by an octagonal tray ceiling that echoes the shape of the room, and columns frame the view of an art niche in a hallway wall. The Turnberry also offers his-and-her walk-in closets.
The 2,400-acre Sarasota National has 19 floor plans, including Carriage homes, Villas, Grand Villas and Golf Estates with 1,572 to 3,184 square feet of living space. Homes start in the low-$200,000s.
