LONDON BAY HAS MODEL UNDER CONSTRUCTION
London Bay Homes has started building its new Carina villa model home in the Matera neighborhood at The Lake Club in Lakewood Ranch, a private gated neighborhood of 35 maintenance-free lakefront homes.
The 3,248-square-foot, three-bedroom model, which will feature interior design by Michael Scott of Romanza Interior Design, is expected to be completed in July.
The floor plan offers formal dining and living rooms, a family room, study, three full baths and a powder room. Scott has transformed a home office between kitchen and dining room into a butler’s pantry/wine bar with cabinetry and under-counter wine refrigerator.
The model will feature a pearl-toned, 12-by-24-inch porcelain tile floor installed in a running bond pattern in main living areas and the master bathroom, carpeted bedrooms, and a wide-planked maple hardwood floor stained dark brown in the den.
Emphasizing outdoor living and lake views, the Carina’s living room, kitchen and family room open through sliding-glass doors to the pool deck and outdoor living room, surfaced with shell-stone pavers.
Outdoors, the covered living area will feature conversation and dining furniture groupings, a summer kitchen with grill, sink and refrigerator, and a free-form pool with raised circular spa.
The model will be shown with a three-car garage and have 4,740 total square feet.
The Carina is one of several maintenance-free estate and luxury villa homes offered by London Bay Homes in Matera. Floor plans provide multiple options and distinct elevations for buyers to customize their homes. Houses start in the high-$700,000s, including site.

MINTO OPENS NEW SECTION
Minto Communities has opened Edgewater Walk, an enclave of waterfront luxury coach homes with views of Anna Maria Sound, at Minto’s Harbour Isle community. Only 35 coach-home buildings will be available at Edgewater Walk.
Construction has started on Edgewater Walk’s first coach-home buildings with anticipated completion this fall.
