Concession mansion sells for $2.8 million

A 8,958-square-foot lakefront home in The Concession Golf and Country Club has sold at $2.8 million.

The sale, reportedly the most-expensive home transaction in Concession in the past year, closed May 12.

Michael Stone of Peoria, Ill., was the buyer. Sara Boudarga of One Sarasota Realty Group represented the seller, Ernest Hodge.

The house is at 18808 Ganton Ave. It has four bedrooms, four full baths and two half baths. It has a freestanding casita with two bedrooms and one and a half baths.

The estate is on 1.5 acres.

The house was completed in 2012 and has a home theater, climate-controlled wine room, his and her master bathrooms, a putting green, waterfall with lily pond, 50-foot pool with fire pit, a spa flanked with royal palms, a video surveillance system and an exercise room with cork flooring.
