Entertainer and talk-show host Rosie O'Donnell's house on Casey Key came on the market today at $5,750,000.

O'Donnell, a co-host of television's The View, bought the four-bedroom, 4,647 square foot house at 703 Casey Key Road, Nokomis, for $5 million in October 2013.
At that time, Forbes magazine reported that O'Donnell sold her long-time Miami home on exclusive Star Island because Miami had gotten "too crazed" for her liking. She considered Olivia Newton-John's estate up the coast in Jupiter before visiting Sarasota and becoming attracted to its amenities and lifestyle, the magazine reported.
The house was built in 1998 on eight-tenths of an acre overlooking the beach.
According to the listing information, the house has floors of French oak, tongue & groove ceilings, designer tile and marble, a chef's kitchen with Wolf range, Sub-Zero refrigerator, two Miele dishwashers and two wine coolers, multiple covered porches, an elevator, new hurricane-rated fenestration, a generator and dry boat storage at a nearby marina.
