$1.9 million condo sale in Sarabande


rHomesXX SarabandeA renovated, 10th-floor unit in Sarabande, a condominium tower at 340 S. Palm Ave., Sarasota, has sold for $1.9 million.

Listing agents Roger and Nancy Grenier, of Premier Sotheby's International Realty, said that, based on information from My Florida Regional MLS, the transaction represents the highest reported sale price per square foot ($688) in Sarabande since June 2008 ($702 per square foot in a $2.55 million sale). The residence, which has bay and skyline views, was on the market for 78 days.

Judy Kepecz-Hays of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate represented the buyer.

About $500,000 was spent on the renovation in 2014,  said Nancy Grenier.
