Michael Saunders named to national list of influential real estate pros

Michael Saunders has been named to the prestigious Inman Top 101 list of influential real estate professionals.

Saunders is the president and founder of Michael Saunders & Co., the independent real estate brokerage.

Inman, founded by Brad Inman, publishes news and information about real estate for both professionals and consumers.

Those named to the 101 list were recognized for ingenuity, outspokenness, strength, conviction, power and persistence – factors that are changing the real estate industry.

“It is not who you are, it is what you do,” said Brad Inman. “It is not about yesterday’s achievements, but what we expect from them in the future.”

Included on the list with Saunders are Richard Smith, CEO of Realogy, the parent company of Century 21, ERA, Coldwell Banker, and Sotheby's International Realty; Gary Keller, the chairman of Keller Williams; Dale Stinton, CEO of the National Association of Realtors; Dave Liniger, CEO and co-founder of Re/Max; Glenn Kelman, CEO of Refin; Spencer Rascoff, CEO of Zillow, and his chief operating officer, Amy Bohutinsky; Budge Huskey, CEO of Coldwell Banker; and Laura Brady, CEO of Concierge Auctions.

Recipient of the 2015 Bob Graham Architectural Awareness Award from the American Institute of Architects/Florida-Caribbean, Harold Bubil is real estate editor of the Herald-Tribune Media Group. Born in Newport, R.I., his family moved to Sarasota in 1958. Harold graduated from Sarasota High School in 1970 and the University of Florida in 1974 with a degree in journalism.
