Casa del Cielo -- "House of the Heavens," or Sky House -- is a timeless piece of architecture that also is a landmark for bathers and strollers on Siesta Key's Crescent Beach.

Friday, it sold for $4.7 million, the first time the house's ownership has been transferred.

Designed in 1980 for Mrs. Harry Gregg of New Hampshire, it came on the market in 2014 for the first time at $5,999,000, including a vintage beach cottage and 1990 "gate house."

Listing agents were Cheryl Loeffler and Martie Lieberman of Premier Sotheby's International Realty. They represented the sellers, Catherine Gregg, Cyruss Gregg and Judd Gregg.
