Beyond Ourselves, the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association's community service club, will present its fourth annual charity home tour, "Share the Love for the Kids," from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 9.
The tour features nine uniquely decorated private homes located in the Punta Gorda Isles canal community and a raffle of baskets and one-of-a-kind items at the PGICA building during the tour.
Proceeds will benefit two local organizations that focus on the needs of local children: New Operation Cooper Street and Back Pack Kidz.
The tour will begin and end at the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association, 2001 Shreve St., Punta Gorda, where raffle tickets will be sold. Tickets for the home tour are $15 in advance or $20 the day of the tour at the PGICA or at the offices of the Punta Gorda or Charlotte County chambers of commerce. Information: (941) 637-1655.
NEW MODELS AT VENETIAN GOLF & RIVER CLUB
WCI Communities will unveil three model homes from noon to 4 p.m. today at Venetian Golf & River Club, a 1,039-acre master-planned community on the Myakka River in Venice.

Builders Design of Maryland furnished the San Remo, which has a base price of $255,990.
Venetian Golf & River Club has an 18-hole golf course, designed by Chip Powell, and a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse with fine and casual dining and a calendar of events.
The Venetian River Club has a 70-acre nature park, a fitness center and aerobics studio, spa rooms, lap pool, resort-style pool with cabana bar and a six-court Har-Tru tennis center. The nature park includes a river walk boardwalk and a picnic gazebo.
Homes at Venetian Golf & River Club are priced from the low $200,000s and include a limited number of inventory homes. The community is off Laurel Road, 1.5 miles east of Interstate 75.
