Ana Petkovic and Srdjan Prcovic of the Moscow Architectural Institute in Russia were awarded the $2,500 first prize in the "Inspire Indian Beach" architectural competition Thursday at 916 Indian Beach Drive, Sarasota.
Their design for the vast waterfront property was chosen from five finalists with a crowd of top-selling Realtors and others in attendance.
Architecture critic and editor Beth Dunlop of Miami and Sarasota architect Mark Sultana were the judges. Realtors also voted. The marketing strategy was created by the Schemmel Team at Premier Sotheby's International Realty and Craig Jones of Premier's home office in Naples.
Joel Schemmel has the 5-acre bay front site listed at $12.9 million.
