On about 800 acres, Esplanade at Artisan Lakes is off Moccasin Wallow Road, less than a half mile west of Interstate 75 near Palmetto.
The neighborhood will have a lagoon-style swimming pool with large patio, a fitness center, two private rooms for spa treatments, a catering kitchen and coffee bar, a library, conference room, parlor and lounge space, along with a pet park and fire pit. The Esplanade brand includes an on-site lifestyle director to arrange activities for residents.
Taylor Morrison has 10 floor plans, including houses and detached villas from 1,600 to more than 3,000 square feet, with two to four bedrooms, two to three and a half baths, and two- or three-car garages. All homes have tile roofs, paver driveways and designer touches.
The Cararra VII model is a two-bedroom plan with an open great room with chef-inspired kitchen and breakfast nook. The master retreat has an en-suite bath with double vanity and his-and-hers walk-in closets. A den separates the two and could serve as a home office or optional third bedroom.
Other home designs that have been built as models include the Lazio VII, Trevi VII, Bella Casa VII, Roma VII and Arezzo VII.

WCI OPENS CARRIAGE MODELS
WCI Communities has completed two maintenance-free Carriage model homes at Venetian Golf & River Club, a 1,039-acre master-planned community along the Myakka River in Venice.
The Corsica and Monaco models, located in the Capello neighborhood, showcase WCI’s three-bedroom, two-bath Carriage home floor plans at Venetian.
The homes have coastal design and by CJ Décor, and overlook a nature preserve.
Both floor plans are designed around a great room to emphasize openness with adjoining kitchens, cafes and dining areas — spaces that also connect to covered lanais through sliding glass doors.
Carriage home kitchens feature center islands/breakfast bars and corner walk-in pantries. Owner’s suites have large walk-in closets, sliding glass doors to lanais, and bathrooms with glass-enclosed showers. The Corsica starts at $215,990.
The second-floor Monaco offers a private elevator and staircase and has 2,376 square feet of living space. The model features 18-by-18-inch bias-installed taupe tile throughout main rooms and a hickory wood floor in the retreat. Ceilings are accented with crown molding, and the great room offers home theater capabilities. The Monaco starts at $271,990.
