AIA-Tampa Bay is one of the largest chapters in the country, representing seven counties from Pinellas to Polk. Halflants + Pichette has now received 23 AIA awards the firm opened in 2006.

At Vanguard Lofts, developed by Kevin Bryon of Tetra Terra Development, three garden units (1,468 square feet) are available at $530,000 and three loft units (2,325 square feet) at $730,000. The property is at 1343 Fourth St., Sarasota.

NEW MODEL AT ROSEDALE LINKS

Rosedale Construction has opened the Sterling VI model in Rosedale Links at Rosedale Golf & Country Club off S.R. 70.

The Sterling VI has an open floor plan with 2,878 square feet of air-conditioned space, including a great room, chef-inspired kitchen with café, two guest suites with full baths, a formal dining room, private den, and a master suite.

The model has an oversized lanai with a pool and spa, outdoor kitchen and covered lounge area. A wooded preserve behind the home creates a sense of privacy and provides a view of nature with the occasional deer sighting.

The interior was designed by Linda Mixon. She gave each room its own "wow factor" by paying attention to the details. In the great room, a custom entertainment center and built-in dry bar is balanced by a uniquely textured area rug. The dining room has a chandelier with capiz pearlized shells with crystals and a two-tone champagne silver-leaf finish.

Every Rosedale Links homeowner becomes a social member of the club with the option to purchase a golf and/or tennis membership. The Sterling VI is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (noon to 5 Sundays).

The house has 2,434 square feet of living space and a popular open-plan combining great room, nook, kitchen and dining room into a large space for entertaining.
