After four weeks of sales, 10 of the 17 units at Echelon on Palm, a new luxury condominium on Palm Avenue in Sarasota, have been reserved, reports the developer, the Ronto Group of Naples.
The glass building was designed by Alcides Santiesteban of Santiesteban & Associates Architects in Tampa.
Echelon on Palm, set for 624 S. Palm Ave., will be an 18- story tower offering 15 full-floor residences of 4,155 square feet each, one half-floor residence of 3,079 square feet, and one 4,381-square-foot two-level townhouse. Each residence will have a private elevator entry and garage parking. Residents will have bay and city views from terraces located on all sides of the building. Amenities include summer kitchens, a fitness center, yoga terrace, a residents' club room, pool area with spa, fire table and a roof top terrace for entertaining.
Units are priced from $2.1 million to $3.975 million. The site is currently occupied by a historical bed and breakfast.
The reservations are held with $100,000 deposits that are nonbinding. Once the developer has completed permitting and other paperwork with the state, it will go to contract with the buyers, at which time 15 percent nonrefundable deposits will be due. That would be $450,000 on a $3 million unit.
